The previous owner of this stunning Blazer purchased it in Seattle in April of 2014. He drove it all the way from Washington to Michigan. An extensive high quality, highly detailed restoration was performed and took 18 months to complete. The truck was completely disassembled, every nut and bolt was removed. The truck retains all of its original sheet metal including doors, fenders, tailgate and hood. It was disassembled down to the bare tub and placed on a rotisserie. The underside was sandblasted and sprayed with POR15. The inside of tub was sandblasted and sprayed with epoxy primer. All of the outer sheet metal was sanded down to bare metal and sprayed with epoxy primer before body and paint work was performed. The frame was completely disassembled, sandblasted and sprayed with POR15. The original top was sanded and sprayed with zolatone texturized paint, then top coated with white enamel paint.
