The Talladega was Ford's answer to the growing competition of the Nascar circuit and it was only produced in the early months of 1969 at Ford's Atlanta, GA plant. Due to homologation rules, Ford was required to produce a minimum number of these cars that would be available to the general public. This specially designed Torino/Fairlane has many race oriented features that include a Flush Mounted Grille, 6'' Longer Front Clip, Tapered Front Nose, Close-Fitting Front Bumper, along with Lowered Rocker Panels that gave Ford's Nascar vehicles another aerodynamic edge against the competition. These production cars were only available in three colors, Royal Maroon, Wimbledon White, and Presidential Blue! The Talladega was so successful, Ford brought home the Nascar title in 1969! This Talladega is sporting a beautifully straight body, glossy Presidential Blue Paint finish, Black Interior, New Magnum 500 Wheels, New BFGoodrich Radial T/A Tires, Competition Black Painted Hood and Rear Tail Panel, along with Polished Chrome and Stainless Steel Components all around. Under the hood sits a Numbers Matching Ford 428ci Cobra Jet V8 Engine with a Holley 4-Barrel Carburetor sitting on top! Power is sent to the rear tires through a Numbers Matching Ford C6 3-Speed Automatic Transmission and a Ford 9'' Rear End with 3.25 Gears and a Posi Differential. This 69' Torino Talladega is a fantastic driving car and there's plenty of power on tap too! The equipped Power Brakes (front disc) and Power Steering allow you cruise this classic around town with ease.

Every Talladega that was produced came off the line with an interior featuring Bench Seating and Black Vinyl and Cloth Upholstery.
