Check out this gorgeous 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS! When the previous owner bought this car 5 years ago in Tennessee, it was not what he was expecting so he tore it down and started over! The car was completed with its frame off, nut & bolt restoration in November 2016. The Chevelle is a true 138 SS car through and through. Under the hood sits a GM 396ci V8 tied to a Muncie M20 4-Speed Manual Transmission and 12 Bolt Posi Rear End. The engine block is year correct, and it is from the KC plant, which is the same plant that this car was from. The factory air conditioning was upgraded by changing the compressor to vintage air and it blows ice cold. After the restoration was complete it was seldomly driven and has remained in immaculate condition ever since.
