1965 Shelby Cobra by Factory Five

Up for sale in our show room, this beautiful 1965 Factory Five MKIV Cobra. Built in 2014 and titled In Michigan as a 1965 Cobra. Built by a retired tool and die engineer. Finished in beautiful Flame-Red with a white pearl Daytona style stripe. Powder coated frame, body is undercoated with Lizard Skin to protect paint and sound deadening. Aluminum panels are treated to protect finish. Interior has been covered with Cool It sound deadner.

Engine is a Ford 347 stroker built by Proformance Unlimited and was dynoed at over 400 hp. It has Eagle balanced crank and rods, hi-pro pistons, Comp Cams hyd roller cam and roller lifters and rockers. Three piece double roller timing set. ARP fasteners used throughout. Edelbrock E-Street heads, Edelbrock Performer intake, Edelbrock # 1411 Performer 750 cfm-carb with electric choke. Edelbrock #1791 electric fuel pump. Derale oil cooler. MSD pro-billet distributor, 6AL ignition controller with rev limiter and Blaster ll coil. Taylor 8mm wires, MSD mini high torque starter, Ford Racing Cobra air cleaner with Cobra baffled valve covers. March #30025 serpentine pulley system with polished crank pulley,polished water pump pulley and polished Powermaster 110 amp one wire alternator.

Putting that power to the ground is a Ram performance clutch with a Tremec TKO 5-Speed Manual. Factory Five deluxe 3-bar rear axle 355:1 ratio 8'8'' with traction lock built by Moser. Adjustable track bar. Wheels are Halibrand replica with knock offs, 17x9'' on front and 17x10.5'' rear. Tires are 245 front and 315 rear. Performance 11.65'' brakes. Adjustable coil over shocks. Balanced drive shaft.

Steering wheel is 15'' Mota-lita hard wood rimmed with quick ratio rack and pinion. Cobra style gages by Speed Hut with reverse reading speedometer. Headers are ceramic coated and side pipes are polished stainless steel. Switches for turn signals, four way flashers ,wind shield wipers an wind shield washers. Two polished stainless steel roll bars. Simpson 4-point safety harnesses. Drivers seat is adjustable. Doors have map pockets. Factory Five floor mats with logo. Wing windows & sun visors. Heater and fresh air vents in foot boxes. Carpeted trunk, battery maintainer and hidden disconnect switch, car cover. Polished stainless steel bumpers and nudge bars. Loads of power. Built with best materials grade #8 or stainless steel screws used throughout. Loads of power and handles better than 427's, it has a better front to rear weight ratio. A thrill to drive.
