With so many vehicles on display at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, it's easy to overlook some the year’s best. So here's a list of five models, from this year’s show, that you won't want to miss.
Buick Avista Concept
This stunning rear wheel drive concept coupe relies on a twin-turbo V6 engine with an incredible 400 horsepower. The cabin features sport style seats, ionic air purifiers, aromatherapy, and Buick’s signature QuietTuning. However, the concept means you can only look, but not buy.
Lincoln uses the term "quiet luxury" to describe its approach to the new Continental. Longer and much more stylish than the MKS it replaced, the 2017 Continental looks enough like a Bentley that Bentley’s chief designer called out Lincoln on Facebook. Under the hood, there's a 3.0-liter, twin-turbo V-6, that pushes out 400 horsepower.
This sporty coupe features a large z-shaped front chrome grill, an aerodynamic shape, a low profile, and wide stance. The sloped carbon roof gives it a futuristic feel. The LC500 accelerates from 0 to 60 in under five seconds. This head turner epitomizes luxury and sportiness at the same time.
Acura Precision Concept
Another concept, at least for now, the Precision is a design study vehicle that Acura states “will shape the course of all future Acura products.” The Concept is a sporty sedan with a fastback roof, strong squared-off lines, a wide body, low height, and very long wheelbase. The interior has a race-inspired steering wheel, head-up display, and a curved LCD, among other things.
1969 Lamborghini Miura P400
Right in the middle of this year’s shiny new vehicles, you’ll find this gorgeous Italian beauty. This classic two-door, two-seater is truly a rare find. Lamborghini built only about 750 in total. All powered by a 4.0-litre V-12 engine. It has a value between $1 million-$2.5 million.
For sure, these aren't the only must-see vehicles at this year’s show, but they're definitely five of the best.
