1929 Ford Street Rod
Street rods are all about components and pedigree. Take a good, long look at this 1929 Ford Street Rod and you'll see a pro-built rod with a ton of high-end parts and custom fabrication. This ’29 was professionally built by lifetime mechanic about ten years ago. It is most definitely one of the nicest rods we've featured. With a fresh 355 engine under the hood, which was bored 30 over with a 400TH Transmission the performance is stunning! The list of quality components includes dual carbs, a high rise manifold, new radiator, electric fan and dual fuel tanks. Four wheel disc brakes give this roadster more than enough stopping power.
The steel body and running boards are paired up with fiberglass fenders, all sitting on a boxed frame. The doors have shaved handles for a look that has proven to be extremely popular with the hot rodding community.
The gauges are from VDO, giving it a look that perfectly complements the interior. Power windows and a tilt wheel were included in the rebuild to match the simple and effective overall design of the car. A new stereo system has been installed, and it's powerful enough to be heard at just about any speed.
They don't come much more pedigreed than this one. This is most certainly not a mass-produced rod. This is a very special car that cost far more than the asking price to build, and you would be hard pressed to find another one like it. To put this piece of street rodding history in your garage, all you have to do is call!
